Vegas invaded by Super Bowl Ad stunts: Giant Tequila Don Julio bottles, Doritos chips and tiny Paramount+ mountains

Buckle up, snack enthusiasts! The Super Bowl Snack Ads have unleashed a snack-tacular frenzy on the Las Vegas Strip. With all of these stunts happening, I'm wondering if a stunt ad agency should open their HQ in Vegas.

Tequila Don Julio is pulling off the ultimate stunt, turning the STRAT into a colossal replica of its 1942 bottle – lighting up the skyline like a beacon of boozy brilliance, casting a radiant glow across the city skyline throughout Super Bowl weekend. Lumen and Forge are the creative wizards behind the projection, while Diageo and HUNTER PR are the masterminds steering the strategic ship. This spectacle is reaching new heights – literally.

The Luxor pyramid is now a Dorito chip, a crispy homage to snack lovers everywhere. Luxor's Doritos takeover isn't just for show; it's a golden opportunity for fans to snap a pic and win a golden ticket to Sunday's big game.

The Mirage volcano, already living on borrowed time, has undergone a metamorphosis into a snowy mountain, proudly representing Paramount+ streaming service.
They're are also turning the surrounding area into the "Expedition Vegas" Fan Experience. From Nickelodeon slime portals to Survivor challenges and South Park character photo ops, it's like a theme park for adults, Super Bowl style. The attention to detail is staggering, making it a must-visit for any pop culture enthusiast.

And for the lovers looking to tie the knot, the miniature Brooklyn Bridge in front of the New York-New York Hotel & Casino is now home to a Cheetos wedding chapel – yes, you heard it right, a cheesy matrimonial haven! The Las Vegas skyline has turned into one colossal billboard.

Over at the New York-New York, the Cheetos wedding chapel is just the tip of the iceberg in the "Chip Strip" extravaganza. Picture this: a holographic Chester officiating a wedding, a Flamin' Hot stretch limo, and oversized foam chip duels that are bigger and bolder than ever. Vegas is all in, and it's a snack lover's paradise!

Tostitos has set up a "Tost by Tostitos" pop-up, dishing out tacos, tostadas, and chips with salsa, while Pepsi is turning confessions into game tickets with a peculiar activation featuring Rams star Puka Nacua. Everything in Vegas is chip-forward, and we're here for it!

Beyond the brand extravaganzas, the Las Vegas Strip is still buzzing with tailgates, parties, and countless ways to catch the game this weekend. Soon enough, the city can return to its usual state of debauchery, luxury, and overconsumption – once the sports madness subsides. Or perhaps after March Madness, because in Vegas, there's no such thing as too much.
