Pantamera - Idol 2014 Hit Song - (2014) 3:00 (Sweden)

The "Panta Mera" campaign began with new interpretations of foreign songs, where the lyrics sound a lot like the Swedish words "panta mera", which simply means "recycle more". I thought that was brilliant, as a fan of music I'll listen to songs sung in languages I don't speak, and what the Swedish ear hears can not be unheard. Suddenly old cuban hits were telling me to recycle.

Now they've upped the ante, they've engaged Swedish talent to make hit songs about recycling, and this one is done by all of the current competitors of the star seeking show "Idol". It's like Glee meets "got talent", and the result is an ear-worm you will want to sing along to, despite the terribly naff lyrics about saving the world by recycling bottles and cans. "Recycle now, you'll save the world. Just go to the store, and recycle more". Yes, the lyrics are that bad, and there's a dancing can in the video. Just go with it.
