"For more than a quarter century, Saroo Brierley searched for his family before finding his way back home with the help of #GoogleEarth." This is the story of Saroo Munshi Khan , who got separated from his brother on a train ride, and found himself lost in the slums of Calcutta. He was adopted to Australia, but never lost his memories of home. He retraced his steps via Google earth and eventually found his mother again. The full story was published in Vanity Fair, and made into a short film by Storybox Films.
