Celebrating A Remarkable Career: Michelle Eskin

Cut+Run, a leading editorial company, bids a fond farewell to Managing Director/Partner Michelle Eskin, who has played an integral part of Cut+Run’s development for the past 15 years, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the company. She was also instrumental in expanding creative offerings with the continued development of sister company Jogger. Throughout, she has been beloved by clients, editors, and staff, leaving an indelible mark.

“After 15 incredible years as a Managing Partner and Co-Owner, I have made the decision to embark on a new chapter. This was not an easy choice, as this company and its incredible team are a family to me,” Michelle says. “I find myself overwhelmed with a mix of emotions as I make this change – gratitude, nostalgia, and excitement. I am looking forward to the continued success and accomplishments of this unstoppable community of amazing people at Cut+Run.”

Michelle’s tenure at Cut+Run has been marked by numerous achievements and milestones. She joined the company after spending 17 years on the agency side at TBWA/Chiat/Day. Bringing that perspective to the world of post, Michelle worked alongside the company partners to deliver exceptional work and award-winning creative partnerships for brands, agencies and production clients. Under her tenure, the company enjoyed several Editorial Company of the Year accolades. At the heart of it all, she has been a mentor and inspiration to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that has become synonymous with Cut+Run's values.

“As Michelle prepares to embark on a new chapter after an incredible 15 years with me and Cut+Run, I find it hard to express the depth of gratitude for her unwavering dedication to Cut+Run and our friendship,” says Partner/Editor Steve Gandolfi. “Michelle’s impact on both our business and our lives has been immeasurable. The memories we've created together will forever remain cherished. Thank you Michelle, but not goodbye.”

“Michelle’s legacy extends well beyond her time at Cut+Run. But the family she helped create and the values she instilled here will no doubt live on in the integrity of the people and the bond we share with one another,” relays Partner/Editor Jay Nelson. “Our partnership with her pushed this company to great heights and inspired us all to do great things together. Personally I look forward to many more years of friendship beyond the 20 that I’ve been fortunate to have and wish her well in whatever amazing ventures she chooses to take on next.”

Michelle is a fundamental part of the Cut + Run DNA,” enthuses Partner/Editor Pete Koob. She is a courageous leader, a supportive partner and dear friend. While we all wish her the best in her future endeavors, her patience, empathy and strength will be dearly missed. Best of luck Michelle!”

As Michelle embarks on this well-deserved next chapter, Cut+Run expresses its deepest gratitude for her years of service and exceptional leadership. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her impact will resonate within the organization for years to come.
